Located in the west coast of Corfu in a sloped site surrounded by nature and stunning views of the ionian sea.
The main focus was to preserve the site as much as possible and integrate the project in its natural surroundings making it a part of it. Through the design process and taking into account the steep slope of the site, three subterranean volumes emerged, accommodating all the functions, public and private.
Nature and manmade meet in harmony through the use of natural materials and clean geometric lines.
On the interior open spaces the use of lighting wells on the perimeter, allow for natural light to access throughout the day and also serve as a connection point with the exterior, visually expanding the usable space.
The volumes are connected internally and externally with a system of corridors and paths, paved or organic, that unify them and lead to the focal points of the project.
