Fattoria
The residence is a stone-built house that follows the topography of the land, integrating the slope of the plot into its design. The architecture is inspired by traditional Mediterranean construction, featuring stone facades, a tiled roof, and large openings that ensure a visual connection between the interior and the surrounding environment.
The house consists of two main volumes, with one developing into a half-floor instead of a full floor, to maintain harmony with the landscape and avoid excessive elevation of the building. This half-floor accommodates the more private spaces of the house, while the ground floor includes the main living areas, which open onto a large veranda with unobstructed views.
A key feature of the design is the rooftop, which is utilized as an additional outdoor relaxation space, offering panoramic views of the natural landscape and the sea. The surrounding area is designed with terraced gardens, Mediterranean vegetation, and a pool at a lower level, creating a sense of tranquility and perfect harmony with the environment.
The study's main goal is to harmonize with the natural landscape, both in terms of form and function. The choice of a half-floor instead of a full floor reduces the building's height, maintaining a discreet presence within the environment, while the use of local stone and natural materials enhances the connection with traditional architecture.
At the same time, the placement of the volumes and openings is designed to maximize the view of the sea and the olive grove, strengthening the relationship between the interior and the exterior. The outdoor spaces, from the rooftop to the terraced gardens and the pool, act as natural extensions of the house, creating a sense of flow and freedom. Overall, the residence aims to offer a living experience that combines comfort, functionality, and respect for the landscape, promoting a more sustainable and serene approach to habitation.
